City-slashers and Campus-cruisers know that dialing just 1 setup is tricky. Rainskates made it easier. These are:
- 62mm tall
- 39mm wide with a 24mm contact patch
- Offset with round outer lips and beveled inner lips
There's a sick skate spot a few blocks away, but the way there is covered in mega-chunder, rocks, curbs and cracks. One solution is to strap your skateboard on your back and ride a cruiser there. A better one is a middle-ground hard wheel that covers all terrains.
Kaku is a hard-ish wheel that rolls fast and smooth, over rough terrain or at a skatepark. It's easy to kick out slides and get technical, but they actually shed some speed and are totally controllable. They're light and have pop to them, but won't grip up on features. If you're the adventurous type who skates everything, you're often not quite sure what you're going to shred on any given day. Leave the house with one set-up, feeling ready for anything with 92a Kaku wheels.
Kaku means "Barracuda" in Hawaiian.
